Remove/Revoke/Delete Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificate

Method #1

certbot delete --cert-name [domain]
  • [domain] -- The domain you entered when you originally ran cerbot. Remember, "www.domain.com" and "domain.com" are two distinct domain names. (It's just that one usually redirects to the other.)

Method #2

1. Revoke Certificate

certbot revoke --cert-path /etc/letsencrypt/archive/[domain]/cert1.pem

2. Delete Files

# certbot delete

3. Select Relevant Domain

i. You should see a screen that looks like this...

Which certificate would you like to delete?

1: www.domain.com
2: blog.domain.com
3: demo.mydomain.com
4: www.mystore.com
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Select the appropriate number [1-4] then [enter] (press 'c' to cancel): 

ii. Type in the list number of the domain you want to remove.

iii. Result (Instead of www.domain.com it would be the domain you selected.)
